REAL PLACES

Thank you to all those people who are asking, how real are the places in the book, and can they be visited? All the key places mentioned in the book are real and can be visited. Rotherham is the South Yorkshire town where I grew up and can be visited by car, bus or train. If you wanted to identify things mentioned in the book such as Rotherham’s Clifton Park Museum, there website link is https://www.cliftonpark.org.uk – Wentworth Woodhouse the books main attraction is one of the UK’s grandest houses, second only to Buckingham Palace. It is crammed full with history. It is open to the public and their link is https://www.wentworthwoodhouse.org.uk The Magna steel plant was once the largest steel factory in the world and still holds world records for steel production. Their link is https://www.visitmagna.co.uk and there are also cannons, canals and railways as well. Don’t forget to hunt for Paul and the ancient three-sided wall clock on High Street, watch out for the pigeons, billboards and shopping trolleys though as you look for the Minster and St Francis Church !!!! Let me know how you get on and keep the questions coming.
